Everyone on a monthly maintenance package will receive a monthly report detailing plugin, WordPress and theme updates, optimisation and clean-up tasks performed throughout the month.

What does your basic WordPress Hosting include?

Our basic WordPress hosting resides on our LiteSpeed Servers that are optimised for WordPress installs. We will host your website for a cost of £80 per year. This does include daily backups should something go wrong, but does not include any managed service or maintenance. Any updates or work required to be carried out on the site will be charged at £60 per hour (minimum 30-minute charge).

If you are finding that you require work done to your website then you can opt to upgrade to one of our maintenance packages if you wish.

What's included in your Site40, Site60 and Ultimate WordPress Packages?

Our website maintenance packages are for the serious business owner. Hosted on our LiteSpeed WordPress optimised servers we will ensure your website is backed up daily. Also, each WordPress website on the plan has its very own staging site where we can test any updates before pushing live. This staging site can also be used for future development to the website so that you can view any progress made along the way.

We will also make sure that your WordPress framework is updated each month and any installed plugins (with premium plugins we will require access to the original purchase of the plugin) are also kept up to date. On initial migration to our servers we will make sure that your WordPress website is secure installing security plugins and monitoring software.

Can I not just turn on automatic WordPress updates?

Although convenient to the user, this can have major implications to your website. Just because WordPress is ready to be updated, some of the plugins you have installed on your website may not be compatible with the new version. This can lead to loss of functionality, or even complete downtime of your website.

All of our updates are performed by humans on a staging website, so we can keep an eye on any compatibility updates.

Where are your servers based?

Our servers are based in the UK. This is essential if you would like your website to have fast loading times, server location matters. For example; some companies provide cheaper hosting but these servers can be based overseas meaning that the time needed to fetch data will mean slower page loading and performance times.
